Florida-Gulf Coast took the nation by storm this March, upsetting 2-seed Georgetown and 7-seed San Diego State as they became the first 15-seed to reach the Sweet 16 in the 2013 NCAA tournament. The school earned the nickname "Dunk City" due to ridiculous plays like this one:
One of the most surprising aspects of the freshman point guard last season was his athleticism, so it seems like he will fit in well with FGCU's new identity.
Brian Greene Jr. is not the first former Tiger to find a new college home this offseason: Jordan Price decided to transfer to La Salle (another 2013 Sweet 16 team) this summer. Greene Jr. will have to sit out this season due to NCAA transfer rules, so you won't see him in an Eagles uniform until the 2014-15 season.
